Curaden – a high-calibre revolving display
On the strength of previous contact with Curaden and the support provided by Domeisen Visual, this Kriens-based oral care company asked us to provide a sample design for a sophisticated revolving display made of sheet steel. There were plans to launch full-scale production for all of Europe – if the display satisfied Curaden’s requirements.
The biggest challenge posed by the design brief was the need to ensure indirect illumination of each individual shelf and the showcases on the topmost level. In addition, the individual shelves had to be adjustable and attachable to the frame using magnets. Illumination requires a power supply – no mean feat on a display unit that revolves 360 degrees.
Our in-house technology department and our manufacturing partners came up with the ideal configuration and, following delivery of the second prototype, it was obvious that Displaysolutions had created the perfect display for Curaden, signalling the go-ahead for full-scale production.
Despite the current international turbulence in supply chains, Displaysolutions manufactured and delivered the revolving displays ahead of schedule – thanks to its network and expertise.
