CHRIST - Christmas decoration 2.0

Following the successful "Robi" Christmas decoration in 2023, which was very popular with customers (we reported on it last year), Ms. Myriam Maier, Head of the Decoration and Merchandising Department at Christ, has decided to implement the 2023 Christmas decoration in gingerbread design and again with Displaysolutions.

This time again, the figures were created from a sketch that Ms. Maier sent us. We used the sketch to create 3D figures in CAD and then created technical drawings for production so that the implementation came as close as possible to Ms. Mayer's idea.

As the quantities were too low to create an injection molding tooling cost-effectively, we decided to produce the figures using the resin casting process. This process also makes it possible to produce each piece with a high level of detail. Once the figures are cast, the paint is applied by hand and then sealed with a fine varnish.

At Displaysolutions, we love projects like this, which are unique every time and challenge us anew to achieve the best possible result.

If our customers are happy with the final result, we know that we have done our job successfully!
